Sexuality and gender identity are great concerns in modern society. Many controversial issues have arisen concerning the two fields. Issues such as gay marriages, transgender, and homosexuality are a common concern in the world. According to the cultural norms that have been shaped the world's morality for centuries, sexuality and gender identity are formed naturally. However, with the depreciation in beliefs and customs, people have raised a concern that the same factors can be nurtured through psychological or medical means. Therefore, this paper presents a study that purposes to emphasize whether human sexuality and gender identity are more appropriate when cultivated or naturally made.
Gender identity is the differential species of a human that is classified into masculine or feminism. In other words, human beings can only be classified into male and female gender. On the other hand, sexuality is the desire or the attraction some people exhibit towards other people. Naturally, people’s preference is to get attracted to opposite gender for intimacy. However, in current society, transgender has proved that gender identity can be altered. Moreover, other aspects, such as lesbianism and gay relationships, have brought controversy in the sexuality of people. These outstanding issues have brought the need for the analysis of the fundamental and nurtured issues of human in sexuality and gender identity. The next section will involve discussion issues concerning the topic of naturalism and nurturing of the human sexuality and gender to understand which of them is most appropriate one.
